Referees meet coaches

Every new season brings new rules and challenges for referees and coaches in basketball. Before heading into the season is a good timing to go over the most recent interpretations of the rules and the current coaching observations. Too often referees and coaches find themselves in conflicting positions in the heat of the game. Too often these conflicts get out of hand or leave resentment on all parties involved. Getting together at least once a year to discuss the different point of views in an honest and calm environment should help to resolve and avoid misunderstandings.
